Wait. Children’s adventure novels and science journalism? Who does that? Me, I guess. I’m the author of the books Fish and Dangerous Waters, and the co-author, with Bill Nye, of Jack and the Geniuses, a series of science-themed mystery/adventure novels for kids. Plus a few others books, too, including a forthcoming adaptation of Neil deGrasse Tyson’s Astrophysics for People in a Hurry. I’m also a science and technology journalist, and a longtime contributing editor at Popular Science magazine. Hopefully you’re interested in robots, space, aliens, pirates, mysteries, thought experiments, boats, Ireland, surfing or swimming. That’s the stuff I like to write about. Oh, and computer science and AI, too. Plus I have a book idea about a goat who runs a very successful landscaping company on the island of Martha’s Vineyard but never gets invited to the right art gallery openings. Look around. Read a little. Send me a note. Ask questions. And enjoy!
